About the Public Affairs Committee
Advocating on the NAIOP membership’s behalf related to local, regional, and state government actions that may have an impact on the commercial/industrial real estate industry. Also interviews candidates for city, county, and regional offices, and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors for endorsements and financial contributions. Our committee will help connect with community leaders as a resource to provide expertise as a benefit to the local industry and community. Our committee goal is also to educate NAIOP members on changes in laws, regulations and legislative issues impacting their business. We are also the liaison to the NAIOP Corporate legislative group on federal issues.
